- There are 151 Doctor of Physical Therapy students
- There are 20 Post Professional DPT students, in Phoenix North Valley facility
- In Flagstaff, there are 131 Entry Level DPT students
- Ranked 8th in the nation for DPT programs, according to US News and World Report, 2004
- The Physical Therapy Department has agreements with Northern Arizona Orthopedics and the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona. These agreements will facilitate collaborative efforts in research, teaching, and patient care.
- The Department increased entry-level class of students to 48 in fall of 2007.
- Two new faculty were hired fall 2007 to help with the enrollment growth.
- With the expansion of the NAU Health Professions Programs, new equipment was added such as electric, high-low treatment tables and state-of-the-art video recording equipment for the gross anatomy lab.
