Gait Research Laboratory

The Gait Research Laboratory (GRL) has been in existence since 1990 and occupies space in the Health Professions building (#66) used for both teaching and research.  It was created to augment an already established and successful entry-level professional physical therapy curriculum. The primary focus of the laboratory is the kinematic, kinetic, and plantar pressure characteristics of foot and lower extremity during movements such as walking.
